Who we are
Whitfield Funeral Home was established in 1988 by Gene and Ernestine Whitfield after spending many years in funeral service that began in 1965 in Dade City at Coleman Ferguson Funeral Home. Gene and Ernestine are both 3rd generation east Pasco Countians.
It was the dream of Gene and Ernestine to have a family owned funeral and over the years their daughter Amy, a Licensed Funeral Director, son Tim, daughter in law Robin, granddaughter Kylie, grandson Jake, granddaughter Delanie have worked at the funeral home. Great granddaughter Sadie Grace will soon join us and represents the 6th generation of our family in Pasco County. The Dream became a reality.
“We have always felt that funeral service for us is our calling”
